Inspiration for my work largely derives from observing the landscape and natural forms.

My ceramics have slowly evolved over the years.
I now concentrate on producing limited editions which share a common design concept.
The idea of positive and negative space interests me;-
the relationship between the inner and outer form is always challenging.

All of the work is hand built using coiling and press moulding techniques in both earthenware and stoneware clays.
I have developed my own glazes which produce richly coloured and textured surfaces.
I have exhibited widely throughout the UK and abroad and have work in both private and public collections.
